Some Very Just Fine News.
2011 marks the 10th anniversary of my personal favorite of the three VERY JUST FINE albums, LOUDNESS 2. To celebrate, I have a couple of projects in the works.
First of all, while VOLUME 1 has been available on iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, and other online outlets for years, the other two albums never have. By year's end, I'll finish remastering the original LOUDNESS 2 and will release it for download. But that's only half the news.
It's always been in the back of my mind to try working with these songs again. It's a very personal set of songs and was recorded quite roughly for maximum spontaneity -- many of the 2001 versions were recorded in an actual closet! -- and there are some songs I've just always had an itch to re-try. Therefore, I've also decided to re-record the whole VJF:L2 album by year
's end.
The new version will be called LOUDNESS 2 11 (thanks, Nigel Tufnel). The new cover image is attached. And you will be able to order it right here at http://www.dolphchaney.com/, either as CD (free shipping) or as the download format of your choice (WAV, FLAC, iTunes AAC, or hi-res MP3). Tracking is well underway -- I'm finding the process a challenge, and I'm having a blast.
